THERE IS ONE PLACE

There is one place
where I meet myself personally
There I sing melody with great avidity
There I do miss songs beats
There I make my own lyrics
There I synchronize my verses
With the Bollywood super hits
There I sing Sufi songs in English
There I am singer, distinguished

There is one place
where I meet myself personally
There I dance hysterically
There I have my barmy swings
There I am a person who is least boring
There I am a  celebrated choreographer
There I am a lunatic disco dancer
There I dance and jump in liberty
There I dance to get rid of adversity

There is one place
where I meet myself personally
There I dream big so vividly
There I am determined and indomitable
There I think about all the impossible
There I am a revolutionary strategist
There I am aware of the main gist
There I am innately expressive and creative
There I am buoyant and very positive

There is one place
where I meet myself personally
There I go when my heart is heavy
There I write till my heart is light
There I cry till my eyes are bright
Yes I find myself in my Bathroom
That I where I grow and bloom
In the world of verses and poetry
Where I sense liberty and harmony
Yes I have found the place
where I find myself
Where do you find yourself???

KICK OUT THE DEMON

It seeps inside your body slowly
Constructing it’s walls steadily
If the walls will not break
How will the solution ovulate

Cosy bed can’t be your safest spot,
That will not open your tight knot
Wake up and don’t snooze alarms
Get up and run into your Mom’s arms

Her Insta story tells she is travelling
And suddenly you have got a job
Which You are worst at i.e. Analysing
You should better learn channelizing

I have skipped life and energy
Comparison murders synergy
Start valuing your very own timeline
Cherish your memories and shine

Two things will make you stronger
And they are coffee and hot water
Coffee fumes make worry a cloud
Hot water bath flows your worry to ground

Binge watching, Netflixing cant assist
Parched paper contains the main gist
A walk in nature, sunrise and sunset
Open your drawer, get your headset

Break the walls of demon inside you
Demon is spreading like flu
Leave your bed and smell the dew
Say hello to your version: NEW

SHE IS DIFFERENT

She does'nt want to be a mother
Yes you heard it right
She doesn't want to be mother
Don't think that it's her plight
Why can't she choose to be different?
She doesn't want the family extension
Why can't she choose not to be a parent?
To become a mother can be a choice
 but not an obligation

Marriage is a lifelong relationship
She doesn't want the third person
To come between them and share the grip
For their tussle she doesn't want
a kid to be a reason
She doesn't want to share her love and care
With the third person who may not reciprocate
She can't sacrifice her life and can't be unfair
She doesn't want her kid to decide her fate

Why she has to go through the pain?
Pain of delivering the human being
For her kid is not a profit or gain
Her life revolves around herself and that is not mean
Loving yourself can't be mistake or crime
People loosing themselves for a kid, she has seen
She has her desires to fly, write and shine
By doing that
Her chances of being a woman has not gone lean

Kids will have  their own story and narration
But back in your head you all are always worried
She doesn't want the pain of separation
She doesn't want her dreams and ambitions to be buried
Mothers are the epitome of sacrifices they say
But are fathers there only for earning money?
Why the cost of keeping the career at backfoot mother's have to pay?
Men has to work for extra hours and for women life is totally changed, isn't it funny?

My Green dress

Cherry picking the dress from my wardrobe
My eyes fell on the green maxi dress
And my memory started flashing like a strobe
I was wild and raw with my loosely curled tress
My eyeglasses were slipping down my nose
And you gave me a beaming dimpled smile
Your cute smile was getting up my nose
I lacked style and my heart was fragile

You were my glimpse and I became your dream
I was nonchalantly leading my life
You were blood, sweat and tears flowing in a stream
I was abstracted, unaware and naive
I was running behind my dreamy wings
You were and are running behind your mother's dream

After 8 years. ....
Finally my Facebook notification bell rings
I got your friend request and my eyes got gleam

We had a chitter chatter all night long
I talked, I weeped, I bursted and you kept strong
I found my tranquility, my harmony in you
Juvenile side of mine got her father in you
My solitude and  melancholy died because of you
Romantic side of mine ignited in me, for you
I never knew I belong to you, My habitat is you
I never knew I can love someone else over myself too

LIFE IS A BAR

Life is like a fun local bar
Located  in every bazar
Where everyone sits side by side
And not across the table wide
Where strangers converse candidly
Lacking commitments certainly

Life is like a fun local bar
Located in every bazar
We all have that specific seat
You all go there when someone cheats
You go there when you face defeat
Some go there when they are off beat

Life is like a fun local bar
Located in every bazar
You all go there to celebrate
Someone goes there on his first date
Some go there when they are graduate
You may come elated or gloomy
But all leave happy as larry

Life is like a fun local bar
Located in every bazar
"Stranger I will miss you alot
It's not about drinks you bought.
It's about lessons you taught."
Next day someone else replaces him
Each day I am filled with new whim

Life is like a fun local bar
Located in every bazar
"Bartender suggest me a drink"
"Ma'am you may try Penicillin."
I gave a nod to him promptly
My husband never got lucky
I do nod for him some days
But always it is sideways

Life is like a fun local bar
Located in every bazar
"Oh Stranger I got you again
Life is the most uncertain game"
I thought I don't need anyone
But what will happen in long run
No one wants to die lonely
I may die bankrupt, leaving key
Key to harmony, my poetry

NEW VERSES OLD

Sitting in my new car
Stopping at the red light
My eyes fell on the star
Star on my shoes bright

It looks bright and shiny
My old ones are softer
They were more cushiony
New ones make me trendy

Gazing in my new phone
I got hold of old snap
In a dress with a stone
New dress has lacy strap

Old is ragged and simple
New is nice and dainty
Old is archaic local
New is short and skimpy

I looked outside the glass
My eyes met my friend
My past acted as morass
He was like my bookend

He looked worried and old
I waved at my old friend
We have stories untold
We made plans for weekend

New always outst the old
It is just for time being
Wipe dust from novels, old
Read how old is beaming
